Shri B.N Sen, an ardent devotee of Sri Ramakrishna and follower of Swami Vivekananda established Sri Ramakrishna Sanskriti Peeth in 1949 to serve the needy.
Under this Peeth he started a small school for girls in the year 1962. The school began functioning with 7-8 girls. The number started increasing gradually as the parents were convinced of the culture and discipline maintained in the school. After B.N Sen, Dr.B.T Advani a devotee and follower of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, strived for further development of the school. Over a period of time he realised there is no branch of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission in Vidarbha region and thus requested Ramakrishna Sarada Mission to take over the administrative and regular functioning of the School. In 2011 the school was taken over by Ramakrishna Sarada Mission
Presently Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Kamptee runs two school
1) Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Primary, Secondary & Junior College for Girl’s
2) Ramakrishna Sarada Mission School of Home Science.
Both schools are affiliated by Maharashtra State Board. The first school is English Medium from Nursery to Class XII, Class XI & XII is for Science and Commerce stream. Number of Students & teachers for the year 23-24 is 493 & 30 respectively. School of Home Science. The classes are from Vth to Xth with strength of 378 students. There are 11 Governments paid teachers.
