To commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, maker of Modern India, National Youth day is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in “Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Senior Secondary Girls’ School, Kamptee” with School of Home Science. Chief guest ‘Nanda Jichkar,’ Mayor of Nagpur paid floral tribute along with Pr. Amoghprana Mataji and addressed the school where the students were enlightened about the relevance of Swamiji’s principles in the present world.
The programme was a beautiful blend of various activities remembering religious leader and celebrating youth. It started with a procession ceremony where students recited slogans describing Swamiji followed by a beautiful function.
Students paid their heartfelt tribute through karate skills, the skit where Sister Nivedita’s Nagpur visit was depicted, and speeches in three different languages. Group song performed by the choir charged the ambiance of the morning assembly. It was a truly memorable day.
